CompositionBlue Steel. The Blue Steel alloy used in this Jump'In range is made of 54% carbon and 46% manganese.  EffectThis bit has an action on the horse balance. It makes the horse rebalance and transfer its weight on the hindquarters. The larger the rings are, the stronger the gag action is. The French-mouth cannons make this bit more comfortable by relieving the horse from any pressure on their palate. Blue steel bit oxidizes with air and humidity creating a thin layer of rust which has a sweet taste. It will stimulate the production of saliva and naturally allow the horse to relax. The horse will be more comfortable and will take the bit more. The bit Colour will turn into a greyish brown due to this oxidation process.  Using adviceThis bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom rings, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. The gag action is perfect for horses that need to correct a balance issue. The cannons are thinner than standard ones so they will bring more finesse in the rider's demands.

Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.
